Tigers Choose Freshman To Lead The Way

CLEMSON -- Freshman Trevor Lawrence, who led Clemson to a blowout win over Georgia Tech last week, will start under center when Clemson hosts Syracuse Saturday, the school said.

The highly coveted Lawrence has thrown for 600 yards in four game.

Senior Kelly Bryant had started the last 18 games and the Tigers went 16-2 in that span, with one loss coming after Bryant was knocked out mid-game last year at Syracuse.

Elliott: Any future rotation will be up to coaching decisions and made week-to-week. QB change decision was made after watching the film from GT.
