Don't Bet Against Roethlisberger
PITTSBURGH -- Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger participated in a full practice Friday and is expected to play at home on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to several of his teammates.
Roethlisberger missed Wednesday and Thursday practices with a right elbow bruise but he threw Friday for the first time this week after taking a direct helmet hit on his right (throwing) elbow from Browns defensive end Genard Avery on the second-to-last play of the 21-21 tie against the Browns.
“You guys know Ben is Superman,” offensive lineman Ramon Foster said. “If he can, he’s going to give it a go.”
