Decision Made Following Brawl
Football season has ended prematurely for two North Carolina high school football teams who were involved in a post game brawl.
Officials at Hunt and Fike high schools, located in eastern North Carolina, made the announcement on Monday following multiple media reports and a police investigation.
According to a letter signed by principals, coaches and athletic directors from the two schools, the players involved in the fight will also face disciplinary action.
The school reportedly asked sheriff's deputies to use pepper spray when they couldn't get the fight under control.
